Hello all! National Poetry Writing Month is on! It’s the time when poets from all around the world exhibit their love for the art of poetry writing. 😄
My poem for Day 24 is titled Six days to go! Nobody can understand my mental state right now. My mind is really dying. I have no ideas, how will I write six more poems? This is turning out to be a very tough challenge for me. Let’s hope I can complete it. 👊 Have a look at my today’s poem.
Six days left, and I’ve nothing to write,
Written poems on everything that one might.
Flowers, mountains, lovers, Fireflies,
Colours, Ludo, Cooler or the night.
What do I write now, my soul’s empty,
I’ve been a factory, manufacturing poetry.
Had high hopes to try new poetic styles,
But it’s a struggle to walk another mile.
Energy, enthusiasm, everything has dried,
The writer within me is almost going to die.
But thank God, writer’s block hasn’t caught me yet,
Just six days to go, huh, I’m all set.
