Day 23 – Snowflakes

Hello all! National Poetry Writing Month is on! It’s the time when poets from all around the world exhibit their love for the art of poetry writing. 😄

My poem for Day 23 is titled Snowflakes! It’s a poem about someone who has been my constant companion since last few days. Have a look at my attempt.

I stand before him,
With a happy face,
Frozen to the very core,
But not wanting to escape.
A blanket on my shoulders,
Casually lies draped, He
Waves his magic wand, and,
Turns it into a majestic cape!
They try to distract him,
But his eyes are just on me,
When we come face to face, My
Hair sways like a Bollywood movie.
He blows snowy kisses into the scene,
Makes me feel like a freakin’ Queen!
He chills my soul, soothes my heart,
I forget my worries to rest in his wake.
Such is my love, my cooler,
The King of Snowflakes!
