Firefly turns Four!

Hello people! Welcome to Firefly’s Blog. It’s Firefly’s Fourth Birthday today! Can’t believe I’ve survived so long with her. For those of you who are new here, Firefly is this weird, annoying and crazy little lightening bug who just doesn’t stop flying around. She loves irritating and making fun of everyone. Also, she writes quite well and, whatever! I write better than her, but all the love and compliments always go to her. 😼

Anyways, it’s her birthday, so I won’t be very sarcastic towards her today. Talking about our journey, Blogging has given us so much, it’s really beyond words. In these four years, we both met some fantastic bloggers who are really close friends today. We got to read such masterpieces of poems and articles from some very skilled writers. I personally developed a sense of confidence and Firefly has truly become a beautiful part of my identity today.

Blogging got me famous at college, and I started getting internships and translation assignments, haha. 😂 Seniors used to really admire me, and once, a junior even took my interview and got it published in the college magazine, OMG, I was on cloud nine!

Blogging has helped me realise my other talents as well. For example, I can take very good interviews! 😛 Also, last year I tried my hand at doodling and instantly developed an interest. Then, I started drawing characters and a whole new world of comic designing opened up right before my eyes. It was soooo addictive, I literally lost myself for hours in designing comic strips. There also came a point when I stopped writing altogether and dreamed of becoming a Graphic Designer!

Last night, I designed a comic strip as a birthday gift for Firefly. Have a look! I don’t know why she stopped talking to me after that. I mean, our love is clearly visible here, right? 🤔

Haha! Hope you enjoyed this. It’s my way of revenge for all the love you all have been showering on her. Anyways, a big thankyou to everyone who has been a part of my blogging journey. Thanks to my dear friends Abhishek, Bharath Bhaiya, Sumit Sir, Ved, Mr Positive, Sumeet, Nirant, Ayush, and everyone else as well. (Sorry if I forgot anyone. 😬) Your support and encouragement matters a lot to me. Please keep supporting me in my future attempts as well. ❤

A big thanks to Ravi Mama and Devesh (my brother) for helping with the website and my Mom, for being my constant supporter and marketing expert. 😹 Another thankyou to my school Principal Dr S Parimala. She has been my guilding Angel and has always inspired me to keep on writing. Thankyou also to all my teachers and friends for always believing in me. I am grateful to have such lovely people like you in my life. 💙

Also, I’ve still not decided on what to post on this website. It would be great if you all could let me know your opinion by answering the question below.
